PM Narendra Modi on Friday while speaking at a conventionof traders in Talkatora Stadium, Delhi. He accused the Congress of creating a negative perception of traders.
"After independence, under Congress rule, a perception was made that whatever problems are there are being created because of businessmen.The hoarders of Congress took advantage of inflation. In the Congress regime, a perception was created that the traders were responsible for inflation. Am I right? The reality is that trader receives the double blow of inflation," he said.
He also spoke about making it easier for businessmen to navigate several legal process in India
Before the election in 2014, I had said that I will come and finish a law every day and you will be happy that in the last five years, 1,500 laws have been scrapped. My aim is 'ease of living'
On Thursday, during an explosive speech during his rally in Tumkur in Karnataka, PM Narendra Modi slammed Congress for creating "Majboor" government and "Majboor" chief ministers and Prime Ministers.
He also said that politicians in Karnataka have been staging drama and a saga of emotions and revenge. He asked the people to if they had ever dreamt of a Karnataka which is in its current situation, to which the crowd responded with a resounding "no".
"Congress likes this kind of Majboor government only. They like such Majboor chief ministers and they want a Majboor PM too. Majboor chief minister is crying and ministers and netas are busy doing one scam after the other and they know that their government's future isn't bright and that's why they think that as much as they can loot the money in 5 years, they should do it quickly as they aren't sure when they'll go back home," he said.
