Rattled by PM Narendra Modi's praises, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh pushes a youth off the stage.

The incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal wherein the Congress leader lost his calm after a youth sung praises of PM Narendra Modi's government over surgical strikes.

In the rally in Bhopal's Intkhedi, Singh called people who had recieved 15 lakh rupees in their account, and after a youth says yes, he was called up on the stage to speak on the mic and tell the crowd about it.

However, instead of the speaking about the 15 lakh transfer in his account, he started praising the Surgical Strikes on Pakistan following which the Congress workers push the youth down the stage, forcing him to leave.

Digvijaya Singh is in fray with BJP's new entrant and terror accused Sadhvi Pragya on the Bhopal seat. Speaking over Pragya's candidature, he said that he is not going speak anything about the BJP candidate.

When asked about Thakur's comment on former Mumbai Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) chief Hemant Karkare, the Congress leader said, "I have never criticised my opponent and I am not going to speak regarding her."

On the other hand, Sadhvi Pragya, speaking to the media said that she has chalked out her agenda for the polls. Accusing Congress and Digvijaya Singh of insulting Hindutva, she said bringing back respect to Hindutva would be her agenda.

Speaking on Karkare, Singh said, "The Election Commission of India (ECI) has clearly said that no political comments should be made on Army and martyrs... I want to say that Hemant Karkare was an honest and committed officer who attained martyrdom for the people of Mumbai in a terror attack."

On Thursday, April 18, Thakur, an accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case, said that the former Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare lost his life because she had cursed him.
