With party leaders and Parliament aspirants continuing to crisscross the length and breadth of the country with increased frequency as the 2019 Lok Sabha enter their midway point, there is always the possibility of neta running into neta during transit. While one such encounter was witnessed in Mumbai a few days ago as actor Anupam Kher, heading to Chandigarh for wife Kirron Kher's nomination filing, ran into RSS Supremo Mohan Bhagwat, a meeting of siblings has now also added itself to the tryst list.

On Saturday, the Congress posted pictures of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra together at an airfield, captioning it "Chunaav vyastata ke beech kuch sunehere pal" ('Some golden moments amid electoral busyness').

Replying to them, a Twitterati who identifies himself as a Congress supporter, has shared a video of the very same meeting, where both Congress president and the party's general secretary for Uttar Pradesh East can be heard bantering.

In the video, Rahul Gandhi speaks ebulliently about what it means to be a good brother, describing how for his campaign purposes he's taking long flights followed by rides in small helicopters. In comparison, he says, Priyanka is taking short flights followed by rides in a big helicopter.

Rahul Gandhi says, "Let me tell you what it means to be a good brother okay. It means that I am doing these massive long flights - these massive massive long flights. And I'm going in a little helicopter squeezed up. And my sister is doing short flights and she's going in a big helicopter. But I love her" before heading off, presumably to his small helicopter.

Here's the video:

The Congress president has, indeed, been flying long distances in an effort to cover as much electoral ground as possible. Just a day before the video was posted he had encountered engine trouble aboard his flight to Patna and had to return to New Delhi.

However, he ended up making it to all three of his rallies, which essentially entailed him starting out in the capital, heading East to Bihar, then to Odisha, and finally, to the West in Maharashtra.

The next phase of elections, the fourth out of seven phases, will be held on Monday.
