In a shocking incident, a shoe was thrown at BJP Rajya Sabah MP GVL Narasimha Rao, while he was addressing a press briefing at the party's headquarters on Thursday. While the person who threw the shoe has not yet been identified, he was immediately detained by the BJP workers present at the presser and taken out of the room.

After the incident, chaos emerged amid the BJP presser.

The visuals show GVL Narasimha Rao, sitting on the stage and speaking at the press briefing, during which someone threw a shoe him. Later in the video, he continues to speak, alleging the Congress party of the attack.

"This is a condemnable action on the part of the Congress party. This is yet another attempt by yet another Congress-inspired person, who comes in here to show the same kind of mentality. I will request all of you to continue sitting here," said the BJP leader in the following the 'show' attack.

As he asks the gathering to continue sitting at the presser, few people can be seen taking out the man, who hurled the shoe, out of the room.

More details are awaited.
