In yet another incident of timely and heroic rescue by the CPRF, a polling agent in Jharkhad was saved by the Force's constable after he had a serious medical emergency.

The C/226 battalion of CRPF on Monday were posted to guard the polling booth number 179 in Sarango (ps Ghagra) in Gumla district Jharkhand. At 4.10 pm, a polling officer from the booth, Leonard Lakda, suddenly collapsed and began bleeding from his nose and mouth. The CRPF constable Anil Sharma took him on his shoulders and ran for 3 kms to nearby Health Centre and saved Lakda.

As per the doctors, had there been a slightest delay, it would have been difficult to save him.

It seems such acts are done by those in the India's security forces, even when they are not on duty.

Two weeks ago, Indian Navy Lieutenant Rahul Dalal was hailed for his heroic act after he prevented a tragedy by rescuing a drowning man in Kerala. Pictures of the Indian Navy officer are being shared online, and the post related to him by the Indian Navy's official handle has gone massively viral.

According to the Indian Navy, the incident took place on Friday when Lieutenant Dalal went to the Vypin beach in Kerala with his wife. At around 4.10 pm, he noticed a man struggling in the water, unable to swim and trying to shout for help. Though there were other people at the beach, nobody was able to help the victim - identified as Aurangabad resident Dileep Kumar.

Noticing the incident unfolding before him, Lt Dalal, without any hesitation, went to rescue the drowning man. According to the Indian Navy, though he managed to reach Kumar in just a few minutes, it took much longer to swim back with him.
