  • Congress MLA for Chamarajpet Zameer Ahmed has made a personal attack at PM Modi saying: 'His wife left him because his face was not right'
  • He also attacked BJP's candidate for Havari seat, Shivkumar Chanabasappa Udaisi saying if he wanted votes based on Modi's face, he should wear a burkha

Personal attacks on rival politicians seem to continue as Congress MLA for Chamarajpet in Bangalore Zameer Ahmed, on Saturday, has attacked the Prime Minister on the basis of his looks, while interacting with the media in Bangalore.

Slamming BJP's candidate for Havari constituency Shivkumar Chanabasappa Udaisi, for asking votes on the basis of Modi's face, Ahmed has questioned why he was not talking about his achievements instead and suggested he wear a 'burkha'.

"Shivkumar Udaisi who is a two-term MP is roaming around and saying don't look at my face. Look at the face of Narendra Modi and cast your vote. How is this justified? You must talk about your achievements. Instead, if you want people to look at Modi's face and vote, you should wear a burkha."

"And why should people vote for Narendra Modi? What has he done? Show me one such example that he has done in these five years. The diesel prices have gone up to 900 rupees from 400 rupees."

Taking a jibe at PM Modi's appearance and the fact that he is separated from his wife, he addressed Udaisi saying:

"Mr.Udaisi, he (Modi) had one wife and she left him because his face was not right."
