Earlier on Sunday, Senior CPI leader, Prakash Karat too had stated that this decision of Rahul Gandhi to fight from Wayanad shows that their 'priority' is to fight the 'Left' in Kerala.

Further 'strongly' opposing this move, the CPI (M) leader further stated that they will 'ensure' to defeat the Prime Ministerial aspirant.
