The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections have already begun, and the state of Madhya Pradesh is taking support from the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actor in order to make a connection with the youth and also spread the awareness of voting. The Election Commission of India has appointed appointed tge young actor as the state icon in order to promote voter's participation.
The actor was born and raised in Gwalior, where he also shot his recent film, 'Luka Chuppi'. During the promotions of his latest film his co-star Kriti Sanon revealed that when the two of them had visited Gwalior Kartik received a hero's welcome with the posters of 'Prince of Gwalior' written all over.
Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha 2019 elections have begun. The first phase on April 11, saw twenty states with 91 seats going to polls.
