Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Kartik Aaryan chosen for this important responsibility in Madhya Pradesh. Here's what it is

Seems like Kartik Aaryan is not just going to entertain his fans from now on, but also encourage them to be responsible citizens. The young actor has been given the responsibility to make the youth of Madhya Pradesh, the importance of voting. 

The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections have already begun, and the state of Madhya Pradesh is taking support from the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actor in order to make a connection with the youth and also spread the awareness of voting. The Election Commission of India has appointed appointed tge young actor as the state icon in order to promote voter's participation.

The actor was born and raised in Gwalior, where he also shot his recent film, 'Luka Chuppi'. During the promotions of his latest film his co-star Kriti Sanon revealed that when the two of them had visited Gwalior Kartik received a hero's welcome with the posters of 'Prince of Gwalior' written all over. 

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha 2019 elections have begun. The first phase on April 11, saw twenty states with 91 seats going to polls.

Nitin Gadkari, Kiren Rijiju, VK Singh, Mahesh Sharma, Hansraj Ahir, Agatha Sangma, Mukul Sangma, Harish Rawat, Ajay Tamta, Jayant Chaudhary, Satyapal Singh, Nabam Tuki, Renuka Chowdary, Nama Nageswara Rao, Chirag Paswan, Asaduddin Owaisi are some of the key candidates who contested polls during Phase I.
