In a shocking controversy amid the Lok Sabha polls, Congress leader Ajay Singh has hurled sexist and derogatory remarks against BJP sitting MP from Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi, Riti Pathak.

While addressing a rally in the Lok Sabha constituency, the Congress leader objectified the BP MP, referring to her as "maal". Speaking at the gathering, Ajay Singh also alleged that after winning from the Sidhi seat, Riti Pathak has not visited the constituency even once.

"Pathak ji came in the last elections. She got a ticket from BJP. She was in the air reciting Modi's name. Everyone fall into pray of Modi's promise for 15 lakhs. Then she became the MP, however after becoming the MP, did she return back to the constituency? Neither she returned, nor she contributed anything towards the constituency. We have experienced her tenure. She was not a 'good maal'," Congress leader Ajay Singh said in Madhya Pradesh rally.

Ajay Singh is the son of Congress leader, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and former Union Minister of Human Resource Development Kunwar Arjun Singh
