BJP's Bhopal candidate Sadhvi Pragya on Sunday cast her vote during the phase 6 of the Lok Sabha elections.
She refused to speak to the media before going to vote but addressed mediapersons after casting her ballot.
Addressing the media, she said:
"On the occasion of the biggest festival of democracy I cast my vote. I urge everybody to vote. This is our right. Today, we contribute in our nation's policy-making. Do not have negative attitude towards voting. Remember, this is rashtra-yajnya and our contribution is needed. I cast my vote for rashtra-dharm. I did my dharm for the nation. BJP will win with more votes than 2014 and PM Modi will become the Prime Minister," she said.
The country on May 12, Sunday, slipped into the sixth phase of elections. On Sunday, 59 constituencies across six states and one union territory votes will seal the fate of 979 candidates.
Voting will take place for 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, eight seats each in West Bengal, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, seven in Delhi and four in Jharkhand.
