Meanwhile, the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh was left hugely embarrassed after a farmer during a meeting with Jyotiraditya Scindia confronted him over the loan waiver promise. Rahul Gandhi and Kamal Nath had ahead of the state assembly elections promised loan waivers to farmers within 10 days of being voted to power. The promise has not yet been fulfilled and Kamal Nath too has admitted the same.

As seen in the video, a farmer has confonted Jyotiraditya Scindia about the promise. Amid the chants of 'Jyotiraditya Zindabad', the farmer stands up and repeatedly tries to question Scindia, but he is asked to sit down and told he will be allowed to speak later.  He stood up when Scindia spoke about the loan waiver promise. The farmer said that police officials were after farmers who had defaulted on loans.
