BJP's contentious candidate Sadhvi Pragya broke down in tears after meeting with Union Minister Uma Bharti in Bhopal.

Both the saffron clad women met amidst the Parliamentary elections, wherein Bharti could be seen condoling and wiping Pragya's tears as she sat in the car crying, with a crowd and media stood outside for her.

BJP's Bhopal candidate Pragya and Union Minister Bharti have both been called out for their communal calls in the past and a day ago when Bharti was asked if Pragya would replace her in Madhya Pradesh politics, she responded saying that she is just an 'ordinary and foolish' creature, while heaped praises for the Malegaon blast terror accused, calling her a "great saint"

She said, "She (Pragya Thakur) is a great saint, don't compare me with her, I am just an ordinary and foolish creature."

The Union Minister is often credited of reviving BJP's position in Madhya Pradesh after leading the party to victory in 2003 against Congress' Digvijay Singh, furthermore also succeeding him as the chief minister of the state. While, in 2019, Pragya Thakur is in fray with Digvijay Singh in Madhya Pradesh's capital city, while Bharti expressed her lack of interest in fighting the Lok Sabha elections this year.

A few days ago, Sadhvi Pragya referring to Digvijaya Singh in her poll rally had said, "Uma didi defeated him 16 years ago, now that he has risen, those terrorist who increase unemployment, now one more Sadhvi is here to demolish him."

Thakur is among seven accused facing trial in Malegaon blast case, in which six people were killed and a dozen others were injured when a bomb placed on a motorcycle exploded in Maharashtra's Malegaon on September 29, 2008.

Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal will go to polls on May 12 and the counting for the Parliamentary elections will be held on May 23.
