Lok Sabha Election 2019: As Mumbai goes to polls, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray casts his vote in Mumbai with family

With the country voting in the fourth phase of elections begins on April 29, 72 seats across 9 states are in poll fray. The state of Maharashtra is in its last leg of Lok Sabha elections 2019 with 17 out of state's 48 seats polling on Monday. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray reached the polling booth with his wife Rashmi Thackeray and son Aditya Thackeray. He was also accompanied by BJP's North-Central Mumbai candidate Poonam Mahajan.

Earlier, Mahajan cast her vote at polling booth number 48 in Worli and said that she is happy to see the enthusiasm among the youths.

"This is how voters of Mumbai will come out. I have been voting in Centre for many many years. At 06: 45 hours, the kind of rush that I see here I am really hopeful Mumbai will come out in large numbers and Mumbai will vote. Mumbaikar vote kar. (Mumbaikar cast your vote). Though it is the long weekend, our Honourable Prime Minister has always spoken about democracy and strengthening the democracy, how do you strengthen it?
