Newly-appointed Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora is one of the youngest members of Parliament, who handled the responsibility of the ministry of state for communications, information technology and ministry of shipping between 2011 and 2014 with precision. He became MP at the age of 27. With dates for Lok Sabha polls expected to be announced any day, Republic spent a day with the Mumbai Congress chief, Milind Deora.
Amid the loud cheers of dhols and slogans from the background, Milind Deora spoke on an array of issues ranging from developmental issues in the Mumbai South region to work done by former Mumbai Congress chief Sanjay Nirupam, while speaking to Republic TV.
The Congress leader is now set to contest the ensuing Lok Sabha election 2019 from Mumbai South constituency for the fourth time in a row.
