Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan along with wife Jaya, son Abhishek, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya arrived at the polling station to cast their vote in Mumbai, Maharashtra today. In the video above, the Bachchan family can be seen arriving amidst heavy security and entering the station to exercise their right.

The veteran actor and his family joined many other Bollywood celebrities in the likes of Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, and Javed Akhtar among others in exercising their right to vote and celebrating ballot. 

With the political discourse widenening as popular faces from varied fields entering the political stream to full-fledged campaigning underway across the country, India will move into its fourth phase of polling on Monday in 72 parliamentary constituencies spread across nine states.

The stakes are high for the ruling BJP and its allies as it had swept 56 of these seats in 2014, leaving just two for the Congress and the rest for other opposition parties such as the Trinamool Congress (six) and the Biju Janata Dal (six)

The country is voting in the fourth phase of elections on April 29, Monday in 72 seats across 9 states. The state of Maharashtra is in its last leg of Lok Sabha elections 2019 with 17 out of state's 48 seats polling today.
