As India goes to polls for Phase 4 of Lok Sabha General Elections 2019, several Bollywood celebrities were spotted coming out to cast their votes. Stars including Rekha, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, and Kajol were spotted arriving at the polling booth in Mumbai to exercise their right. Joining the bandwagon was actor Salman Khan who exercised his right casting vote at polling booth number 283 in Bandra, Mumbai under tight security.

Following the same, he shared a selfie on Instagram showing his inked finger. Uring his followes to go out and vote, he captioned the post saying, "I have voted.... have u? #VoteKarMumbai"

Polling is being held on Monday for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election in 72 parliamentary constituencies spread across nine states. Several other celebrities including Rekha, Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Aamir Khan were spotted arriving at the polling booths in Mumbai to cast their votes.

Date for Scrutiny of nominations: April 2

Last date of polling: April 29

Date of counting: May 23

This phase will see 957 candidates contesting for 72 seats in 9 states going to polls:

Bihar - 5

Jammu and Kashmir - 1

Jharkhand  - 3

Madhya Pradesh  - 6

Maharashtra  - 17

Orissa - 6

Rajasthan - 13

Uttar Pradesh - 13

West Bengal - 8

Some of the big candidates contesting the elections are: Union Minister Giriraj Singh, former JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar, former union minister Milind Murli Deora, parliamentarian Dimple Yadav (wife of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav), three-time parliamentarian Ram Chandra Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) chief and former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha, former parliamentarian Priya Dutt, NCP chief Sharad Pawar's grandnephew Parth Pawar, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, Moon Moon Sen from TMC and Union Minister Babul Supriyo.
