Alleging the BJP of voter fraud, AAP South Delhi candidate Raghav Chadha, on Sunday has claimed that alleged BJP workers were disguising themselves in scarves and voting multiple times. He also added that they had allegedly caught a few miscreants red-handedly, slamming his BJP rival Ramesh Bidhuri for allegedly stooping to such levels.

Earlier senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Sheila Dikshit, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had cast their vote in their respective polling booths, encouraging voters to come out and cast their votes in large numbers. Priyanka Vadra also hoped the frustration against the BJP will help in swinging the vote towards Congress.

She said, "This is clear that BJP's government is going, there is anger among people, the citizens are frustrated and they will show this through their votes, especially in Uttar Pradesh. I hope the results are good. Congress party would win. I am a Delhi girl. I can't predict, I am not an astrologer."

AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal too cast his vote and hailed the spirit of Delhi for coming out to vote in the summer heat on a Sunday and urging voters to support development over polarization.

He said: "Vote. But don't vote for those who block the development of Delhi. Vote for development. I am appealing to voters to cast their respective votes. Please vote for development. Don't vote for them, who are spreading hatred in society."
