In a shocking remark, AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have called BJP candidate and regional head Manoj Tiwari a 'naachne wala' (someone who dances).

As the election in the NCT of Delhi approaches, parties have geared up their campaigning. On Friday, while campaigning in North-East Delhi for AAP candidate Dilip Pandey, Kejriwal said:

"This time don't give the 'naachne wala' a vote, he's not of any use. All these five years you were never able to meet Tiwari. He did not give a single school to this area. Roads have not been built."

"Manoj Tiwari is a good dancer but AAP’s Dilip Pandey cannot dance that’s why people should vote for him as he will definitely work for the development of the constituency. Manoj Tiwari has been missing from the last five years."

He also added:

“Manoj Tiwari will be roaming all over the country but Dilip Pandey will always be with you. Tiwari is seeking votes in the name of PM Modi, but he is not seeking votes for his work,” added Kejriwal.

Meanwhile, Anil Bajpai, the AAP lawmaker from the Gandhi Nagar seat joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Vijay Goel on Friday.

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had earlier claimed that BJP is trying to poach 7 AAP MLAs and is offering Rs 10 crore each. He had added that the BJP is doing this due to fear of loss in the national capital.

"Due to the fear of losing in Delhi, BJP is trying to buy the 7 AAP MLAs with an offer of 10-10 crores each. Modi ji, this does not suit you. You want to win the elections by buying the MLAs. Come to the field in the name of work," wrote Manish Sisodia taking to Twitter.
