Hours after the classist and personal 'naachne wala' attack against him by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, BJP's Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari has responded saying that people will show Kejriwal and his party the consequence of such a comment.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Manoj Tiwari said:
"By abusing me he has directly insulted the people of 'purvanchal' and same people will show him what are the consequences of it."
On Friday, AAP supremo and Delhi CM Kejriwal while campaigning in North-East Delhi for AAP candidate Dilip Pandey said:
"This time don't give your vote to 'naachne wala', he's not of any use. All these five years you were never able to meet Tiwari. He did not give a single school to this area. Roads have not been built. Manoj Tiwari is a good dancer but AAP’s Dilip Pandey cannot dance that’s why people should vote for him as he will definitely work for the development of the constituency.
Manoj Tiwari has been missing from the last five years. Manoj Tiwari will be roaming all over the country but Dilip Pandey will always be with you. Tiwari is seeking votes in the name of PM Modi, but he (Pandey) is not seeking votes for his work."
In Delhi's North East constituency, BJP has fielded its regional head Manoj Tiwari while the Congress party has fielded former Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit and ruling AAP has fielded the former convenor of its Delhi unit, Dilip Pandey.
Polling in NCT of Delhi will take place in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 12.
