Amid the ongoing tussle between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP over the controversial pamphlet against AAP candidate Atishi Marlena, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia alleged on Friday that has placed his "duplicate" to campaign for him as he has a problem with the heat.

"This is the Mahamilawat between the Congress and the BJP. Gautam Gambhir is sitting in an air conditioned car. He has problem with the heat. In his place, a duplicate wearing a cap is standing. Workers are garlanding the duplicate Gambhir. And this duplicate is a Congress leader in reality," Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.

He has also claimed that the man fielded as Gambhir's duplicate is Gaurav Arora who contested 2017 MCD election on Congress' ticket.

Responding to the claim made by Delhi Deputy CM, BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir said AAP is looking for fixation now that it is facing defeat.

On Friday, Gambhir issued three challenges at AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and his election contender Atishi Marlena. Taking to Twitter he stated that if the AAP leaders will prove that he has anything to do the pamphlet which contains derogatory remarks about Atishi Marlena, then he will hang himself in public. AAP's East Delhi candidate Atishi on Thursday alleged that her opponent Gautam Gambhir circulated pamphlets that questioned her morals contained objectionable and deeply offensive remarks about her. Addressing a press briefing in the matter, Atishi broke down while reading the content of the pamphlet, following which posed one question at BJP's Gautam Gambhir.
