Expressing confidence in Congress' chance at winning all seven seats in the Delhi, former Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit, on Sunday, has said due to Congress' systematic outreach, they will win Delhi.
"We (Congress) will win all seven seats in Delhi. I am confident because our candidates have fought election well and in a systematic fashion, reaching out to everyone. Our target is seven seats," she said.
Rubbishing poor heath rumours, she added that her rivals were spreading them as they did not have anything else against her.
"These are rumours, right? I have been campaigning daily and have visited all the places where I needed to go. As they did not have anything to say, they started telling her health is bad," she added speaking to ANI before casting her vote.
Earlier on Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal and Sheila Dikshit indulged in a colloquial twitter conversation, wherein the Congress leader ended up inviting the AAP chief for a meal. It started off with the former Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit questioning Kejriwal for spreading rumours about her health while contesting elections.
Following her interview, Dikshit on Sunday has cast her vote in her North East Delhi constituency. She did not interact with the media after casting her vote. Dikshit faces BJP's sitting MP Manoj Tiwari and AAP's Dilip Pandey in the battle for the North East Delhi constituency.
On Sunday, 59 constituencies, six states and one Union territory will go to polls to seal the fate of 979 candidates in the 2019 Parliamentary elections.
