Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and his wife Gayatri Rathore cast their ballot at a polling station in Jaipur, Rajasthan. After voting a confident looking Rathore spoke to the media about being assured of a BJP sweep in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
"There is faith in PM Modi's work. People have decided to vote for a majboot government. The people have decided on a government that works above class and caste and works for the country to become the best. The undercurrent of Modi is felt by those who are connected to the ground," he said.
"During this festival of democracy, I urge people to remember their power to vote and go out and cast their ballot, along with their friends," he added
Speaking about issues in the EVMs, Rathore said, "The Election Commission does a fantastic job for the largest democracy in the world."

He had tweeted asking people from constituency Jaipur rural to go out and vote.
Earlier on Monday, PM Narendra Modi also tweeted encouraging people to vote in large numbers.
