At 2.30 pm, the chief minister held another meeting at the party office, which will also be attended by Madanlal Saini, the state party president. In the meeting, the members discussed post poll strategy, the sources said. They assigned members to contact rebel BJP MLAs who have likelihood to win. They will contact candidates from other parties who are likely will win.

This was confirmed by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The BJP leader spoke about the core committee meeting which was held earlier in the day.

"We are in constant touch with senior leaders of parties. We will achieve majority and form the government. We have analysed the situation and come to the conclusion that we will form the government," Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said.

CM Raje said that the party was sure of forming a government. "We are very confident about taking the mandate. We discussed strategies on counting in the meeting," she said.

As per sources, forming alliance with rebel BJP leaders is a key aspect in the party's strategy to try to get the numbers. The party is keen on rebel candidates like Rajkumar Rinwa and Surendra Kumar Goyal, who are likely to win as per exit polls.

The Congress too is working to find candidates for post-poll alliances. Even though the exit polls shows that the party will win, sources say that it fears the numbers will fall short.

Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot and leader Sachin Pilot are already in Delhi for Sonia Gandhi's birthday. Sources have said that Sachin Pilot will meet Rahul Gandhi to discuss the post-poll alliance.

The party members will meet rebel leaders. Mukul Vasnik and Rajeev Shukla are camping in Jaipur and are in contact with independent candidates, the sources informed. They have also met with Chandra Raj Singhvi.
