Rajasthan went into polls for 199 out of 200 assembly seats on December 7, while recording a voter turnout of 74.21 percent. With BJP aiming to retain power in Rajasthan that it had won in the 2013 assembly elections, the party has made multiple promises in its election manifesto in the state.
Big promises for government jobs:
The BJP has promised to ensure 30,000 government jobs every year in its manifesto, but given the fact that the wrath against CM Vasundhara Raje is her inability to tackle unemployment in the state, does the promise seem overstated?
Big promises for private sector development
Has the BJP tried too hard to woo the voter in the 11th hour in a way that highlights Raje’s own failures, given the fact that in its Rajasthan Manifesto, the BJP has promised a whopping five million jobs/self-employed in private sector in five years?

Sop to create 'unemployment allowances'
In a bid to placate unemployed youth in the state, the BJP has promised to give up to Rs. 5,000 per month to educated youths who are above 21-year-old. While it reeks of populism, does it seem too much of political desperation in a bid to woo voters?
What the unemployment allowance is: The ruling party has, however, denied the charge. It claimed to have met 630 of the 665 promises it made. Further, the party has now promised to create 50 lakh jobs in the private sector and 30,000 jobs in the government sector – which itself shows it failed to deliver on the earlier promise. It has also announced an “unemployment allowance” for youngsters whereby “up to Rs 5,000 per month will be given to educated youths above the age of 21 years”. This is another indicator of how unemployment is a major concern for the government.
Farm bank loan disbursement promises
To counter agrarian distress and anger against Raje from the rural community which accounts for over 70% of the population of Rajasthan, the BJP has announced 1 trillion cooperative bank farm loans to be disbursed in next five years
Free electricity for government employees
Considering the fact that the BJP has promised that if it is voted back into power it will give upto 1 KW free electricity to villages with a population of 3,000, is it or is it not true that the BJP has thrown in the towel with all the sops that they possibly can this time around
Women's reservation promise
Considering the fact that 22,71,5086 of the electorate in Rajasthan is female and 74.66% of female votes were polled, how much of a factor 33% reservation for women entrepreneurs in Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment corporation limited have?
In Rajasthan, where elections were held on Friday for 199 seats, history says that the incumbent, i.e. the BJP and CM Vasundhara Raje, will be voted out of power. On this, all exit polls are unanimous.
The Congress has also projected great confidence that they will be forming a majority government in the state and all the exit polls, apart from Jan Ki Baat, are also unanimous on this, despite the Rahul Gandhi-led party not stating outright whether Sachin Pilot or Ashok Gehlot (or someone else) is its Chief Ministerial candidate.
Here are the numbers of poll of exit polls in Rajasthan:
