Retaliating to Kamal Haasan's communal jibe on Nathuram Ghodse being free India's first terrorist, Tamilnadu BJP president and BJP's Thoothukudi candidate, Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, on Monday has slammed Makkal Neethi Maiam (MNM) Kamal Haasan for his comment. She also criticized DMK leader K Veeramani and Tamilnadu Congress president K S Alagiri for supporting this controversial comment calling 'Azhagiri's speech is like a separatist'.

"Kamal Haasan will definitely be supported by K.Veeramani no doubt. But if Veeramani or Alagiri talks anymore DMK-Congress will not get any votes. It sounds like the speech of a separatist, not a national party leader. He (Alagiri) says RSS and ISIS are one and the same."

She also slammed the Congress for killing Sikhs and Tamil people in Sri Lanka and alleged that the meeting happening on Monday between Telangana CM K Chandrashekhara Rao and DMK Chief M K Stalin has confused Alagiri.

"Today, Congress is the terror group which killed Sri Lankans and Sikhs in the past. Now they are labelling a nationalist group as a terror group due to compulsion. As KCR is meeting Stalin today, Alagiri is confused about what to talk."

Vivek Oberoi Takes On Kamal Haasan For 'first Terrorist In Free India Was A Hindu' Remark, Appeals To Him With Art Analogy And Asks If It's All For Votes

Questioning why they(DMK-Congress-MNM) were carrying a convicted case till today while claiming that terror had no religion, she accused them of playing politics for votes.

"Kamal Haasan is telling this is terrorism. Such people never opened their mouths when 10 people (from India) died in Sri Lanka. They may say that there is no religion on terrorism, but now are talking about a case where the accused was trialed and hanged to death. I do not know why they are carrying them today, it seems like vote politics only. He (Kamal Haasan) has said the first terrorist was a Hindu. If their party denies it, it means they too don't understand their leader."

Kamal Haasan Stokes Raging Controversy, Says 'free India's First Terrorist Was A Hindu' In Reference To Nathuram Godse

Earlier in the day, MNM chief Kamal Haasan triggered a massive controversy on Sunday night, telling the crowd at his rally that free India's first terrorist was a Hindu, in reference to Mahatma Gandhi's assailant Nathuram Godse.

While addressing a rally in Tamilnadu's Aravakurichi, he said that he was among the 'proud Indians' who desire a nation that espouses equality and where the 'three colours' of the Tricolour remain intact.

"I am not saying this because this is a Muslim-dominated area," Haasan prefaced his remarks, adding, "but I am saying this before a statue of Gandhi. Free India's first terrorist was a Hindu, his name is Nathuram Godse. There it began."

"I'll thump my heart and say that I'm a good Indian and any good Indian will want the country to be peaceful and equal for all. They will always want the three colours of the national flag to remain the same as ever," he elaborated.

Congress Makes 'ISIS-RSS' Analogy; Supports Kamal Haasan's 'Hindu Terror' Statement Not "100% But 1000%"

Following this, Tamil Nadu Congress president, KS Alagiri  has publicly backed his 'Hindu terrorist' statement, not just "100% but 1000%"

"Extreme leftists and rightists will follow the same policy. Even religion fundamentalists are same.RSS in Hinduism is just like ISIS in Islam, both are similar. I support and agree Kamal Haasan's statement not only 100% but 1000%," he added.
