Two days after All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi spoke about the prevailing political scenario in Telangana, he has yet again attacked BJP and Congress while addressing a public gathering on Sunday. Stating that 'PM Modi will not be the Prime Minister in 2019', Owaisi said:
"Amit shah in every rally divides India. Though Modi is the PM, most of the times he is outside the country. BJP discriminates between people. BJP doesn't have a positive program. Amit Shah is saying they will end AIMIM in our state but he doesn't know us, we are not afraid of your propaganda. Modi will not be the PM in 2019".
Critical of both—BJP and Congress, he further said:
"Be it Rahul Gandhi, Chandrababu Naidu, Amit Shah, Modi or RSS, listen, AIMIM will never end. The minorities should have their voice. They should be in Lok Sabha.
On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath mounted a scathing attack on AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi while adressing a gathering in Telangana.
“If BJP forms the government in Telangana, friends, I want to assure you, Owaisi will have to run away from here, the same way the Nizam was made to run away from Hyderabad”, he had said at his election meeting at Sangareddy".
Reacting to the statment of Uttar Pradesh CM, AIMIM chief Owaisi said:
"I ask UP CM, Is this nation only yours not mine? You are a zero in history. If you were educated you would know that Nizam did not flee. I am proud of being an Indian, but this is not what Yogi is saying, these are the words of Modi Ji. India is my father's country and no one can throw me out of my country. What do you think I am? A small kid.. you are the CM why don't you talk like one.Till the time I am alive I will keep fighting Yogi, Amit Shah, PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi and Mr Naidu. I am a proud Indian Muslim".
Earlier in the week, in an exclusive interview with Republic TV, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi spoke about the prevailing political scenario days before the state of Telangana go to polls. Amid the spurring controversies ahead of polls, Owaisi elaborated on his derisive ‘Ghulam (slave) of Congress’ attack on Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad.
He further lashed out at the Congress party president, saying, “In democracy opposing is important. I want my party to expand. This question of Rahul Gandhi that why you are fighting the elections, I ask him to please read the Constitution, the more people fight the election, democracy strengthens. You are of a very feudal nature that no one should oppose you. I will fight elections, I will lose elections and I will win elections. He questioned, why are you contesting in Maharashtra, why are you contesting in Bihar? What should we do. This is what our work is as a political party.”
