CONTROVERSIAL: UP CM Yogi Adityanath Issues Shocking 'green Virus' Attack In Polarising Speech, Targets Gathbandhan And Congress

In a communally polarising speech ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district, UP CM Yogi Adityanath accused the Congress, SP, BSP, and RLD of spreading the 'green virus'.

While delivering his poll speech in Meerut which goes to polls on April 11, CM Yogi accused the Congress and Gathbandhan of targeting the Muslim community as a vote-bank. He said:

"Congress' manifesto has been released. It shows that Congress' hand is with  the anti-nationals. They want to rule the country with the help of anti-nationals. You might have seen that when Rahul Gandhi went to file his nomination from the Wayanad seat of Kerala, Congress' flags were not there, instead green flags with moon and stars made on it were raised."

Taking his shocking comment further a step further to target the BSP-SP-RLD alliance, he said:

"This is the case with the Gathbandhan as well, They have been so into the race of gaining power that they dont care about national security, don't care about country's unity. In Saharanpur you might have heard Mayawati's speech, she said that if the Gathbandhan gets the Muslim vote, she dosen't need any other vote."

He then used a controversial remark he has made once before:
"If they believe in Ali, we also believe in Bajrangbali"

Highlighting that all the other parties talks in favour of a certain group, he said:

"They want to throw a green virus to engulf the nation. West Uttar Pradesh need not come under the effect of this green virus. In East Uttar Pradesh we have alrready wiped out the virus, now in the West we will demolish Congress'SP's BSP's RLD's 'green virus' from here..."

A day earlier, Adityanath had also commented on Mayawati's appeal to Muslim voters to vote for the Gathbandhan by saying :

"If she (Mayawati) only wants Muslim votes, then the other voters will naturally decide where they wish to vote," he said.
