After the Congress made a personal attack at Union Minister and BJP's candidate from Amethi (Uttar Pradesh) Smriti Irani, she spoke to Republic TV's Editor-In-Chief Arnab Goswami.

The BJP leader talked about her work campaigning in Amethi and also about her political rival and opposing candidate from the seat Rahul Gandhi.

She said that Gandhi's fright from contesting from the seat led him to run away to contest from his second seat of Wayanad in Kerala. She also spoke about his absence in Amethi during the election season.

"I am camping Amethi but where is Rahul Gandhi? I will be available in every nyay panchayat to every voter that is the respect I give to voters, in contrast where is Rahul Gandhi who even after filing his nomination did not find time to come here. Because, he does not find them worthy of his time," she said.

She also said that the Congress' personal attack at her shows the party is scared.

"To be so immature in your attack on me gives me great happiness and satisfaction that the Congress is running scared," she said.

She also slammed the party for making a personal attack at her and making a mockery of the electoral process.

Earlier on Friday, she spoke to the channel on Congress' personal jibe, saying that she will not be afraid of the comments made by the leaders of the grand old party and will defeat Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha polls. 

"It is okay. It is their right. You keep subsidiaries for that purpose only. I believe that the more they will insult me, the more power I get to deliver a better fight. Let them attack me personally," the Union Minister said speaking in the matter.
