The Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts that PM Narendra Modi will win a thumping victory, that too with a larger margin owing to the development work in the seat and since the Prime Minister is a sitting MP in the seat.

On Sunday, Republic Media Network released its double exit polls with Yashwant Deshmukh's CVoter and Pradeep Bhandari's Jan Ki Baat. Both the exit polls showed that the BJP would make a stunning comeback. The CVoter predicted NDA to win 287 seats whereas the Jan Ki Baat projected the coalition to win 305 seats.

Pradeep Bhandari now brings the seat-by-seat exit poll for Uttar Pradesh through the Jan Ki Baat survey.

Jan Ki Baat had predicted that the NDA will win 46-57 seats in the state while the CVoter would win 38 seats.

In 2014, BJP led NDA secured a massive majority of 73 out of 80 seats in the state, and out of the seven remaining seats, two were won by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi at Rae Bareli and Amethi respectively, while the five others were won by the Yadav dynasty in the state. Compared to 2014 Parliamentary elections, in 2019 the BJP seat-share is predicted to go down by over 10 seats, which will benefit the SP-BSP Mahagathbandhan.

Projection for Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh:  

The Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts that PM Narendra Modi will win a thumping victory, that too with a larger margin owing to the development work in the seat and since the Prime Minister is a sitting MP in the seat. He is fighting in the seat against Congress' Ajay Rai and Samajwadi Party's Shalini Yadav.

The poll projects that he will win with at least 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh votes margin.
