As the country prepares for the remaining four phases of elections, political campaigning, heated arguments and blame-game between the leaders of different parties have picked up. Among them is SP chief Akhilesh Yadav who has been using the tagline 'development is asking' ('Vikas pooch raha hai') for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the poll season. On Friday, taking his jibe further, Yadav tweeted a picture of a raging bull charging at a man in his rally in Kannauj and made a reference to the alleged destruction of farmer's crops in Uttar Pradesh due to wandering animals.

Remarking on the pictures of the bull charging, Yadav said:

"Development is asking: Nowadays you can see that bulls' anger has increased. A bull entered yesterday's rally and battered a security personnel. It was actually angry at the BJP government but when the bull came to know that its not BJP's rally, it calmed down."

The bull entered the rally premises before the joint rally of SP-BSP-RLD in Kannauj began. Right before the helicopters of BSP supremo Mayawati and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav reached the venue, the bull created a lot of commotion and panic among the security personnel. After the rally Yadav used the same pictures to attack the BJP government. He also said:

"In 21 months, we built the expressway. But in the last two years, citizens are fed up of the wandering animals. If the government is not able to stop the entry of bulls in political programmes, then one can imagine what is the condition of the poor famers."

Yadav also commented on PM Modi's rally in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh on April 27, saying that the angry bull mistook this rally for PM Modi's rally and came here to rant. The video of the bull was also tweeted by news agency ANI.

BSP supremo Mayawati, on the other hand, said that the BJP had mischievously sent the animals to their rally.
