In an all out attack at BSP chief Mayawati, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid on Wednesday made a public declaration that he will break into pieces, anyone who comes in between him and the BJP party.

While addressing a public rally, Salman Khurshid was hitting out at PM Modi, following which he said that he will break into pieces ("Choor Choor") anyone, naming "gathbandhan" and "haathi" (BSP), who will create hurdle in the fight between him and PM Modi.

"Hamare yaha is waqt ye keher hai ki hum Modi se ladenge, aur main aelan karta hu, Modi se jo meri ladai main mere samne ayega, aur mujhe rokne ki koshish karega, wo gathbandhan ka naam le, ya wo haathi ka naam le, main usko waar karke choor choor kar dunga. (We will fight against Modi, and I declare that whosever will interfere in the fight between me and Modi, or will try to stop me, whether he be from Gathbandhan or from BSP (Haathi), I will attack them and will break them into pieces)," he said while addressing the rally.

This is not the first time when the Congress leader has targeted former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati. Earlier taking a dig at the BSP chief he had said that he will make a ‘beautiful graveyard’ for his opponent.

This comes almost 11 months after the Opposition parties gathered to form a front against the Narendra Modi-led government

On May 23, 2018, a number of Chief Ministers and party leaders from across the country gathered in Bengaluru ahead of the swearing-in of HD Kumaraswamy. Following the meeting, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu addressed the media.

During the press briefing, Mamata Banerjee said, "there is a saying in Hindi what workers and farmers use -- 'Jo humse takraayega, choor choor ho jayega.'(Whoever clashes against us will get crushed)" asking the regional to form an alliance against the ruling government.

"If regional parties are there only then will nation be strong. If regional parties come together, the greatest strength is theirs. That should be understood," she later added
