BJP Chief Amit Shah addressed a press Conference in Varanasi on Tuesday where he said that he was confident of  BJP forming the government with a total majority.

"Today I welcome you to the inauguration ceremony of the BJP media centres at Gorakhpur and Kashi. At 6 PM, the third phase of polls have been concluded with a voter turnout higher than 65%. On the basis of detailed analysis of the first and second phase of elections and the first report of the third phase of elections, I can clearly say that the Lok Sabha polls which will be conducted in May 2019 will go in favour of BJP."

He added that after touring 253 constituencies, the Modi wave was stronger and 'Phir ek baar Modi Sarkar' was resonating with the crowds.

"BJP is going to win more seats than 2014 and will form a government with a complete majority. An increase in the seats of the allies forming the NDA is also evident. A huge (Modi)wave from all directions is coming to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister once again. In the last four and a half months, I have conducted a tour in 253 constituencies. And after this tour, I can say with conviction that the chant 'Phir ek baar, Modi Sarkar' has been adopted by the people as their own. "

Detailing the Prime Minister's Kashi sojourn on April 25 and 26, he said:

The roadshow will begin from the Malviya statue and end at the Dashashwamedha Ghat. At 7 PM, Modiji will participate in the Ganga Aarti and after that, he will interact with a few selected intellectuals at the Hotel de Paris. Next day, on April 26, in the morning at 9:30 AM, at the same Hotel de Paris, PM Modi will address all the party workers in the Kashi constituency. After concluding this, PM Modi will go for the darshan of the Lord Kala Bhairav and then he will go for his nomination."
