PM Narendra Modi on Thursday shared videos of massive number of people greeting him ahead of his rally in West Bengal's Bankura.
As seen in the video, PM Modi was received by a huge crowd in the the district. Supporters are seen waving their hands at the Prime Minister and are heard chanting 'Modi, Modi'. PM Modi walks around the vast ground waving back at the people.

Bankura, which has tribal communities and comes in the Jangalmahal area of West Bengal will go to polls on May 12 during the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections.
During the 2018 panchayat polls, BJP had won close to 30-40 per cent seats in Bankura. In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, BJP got 20 per cent vote from districts in the Janalmahal districts.
On May 8, there was a huge show of strength during PM Narendra Modi's rally in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan.
The BJP had said that it has chosen the ground owing to its public significance. The BJP leaders claimed that there the rally will signal an end of AAP and Congress in Delhi. They claimed it would be an unprecedented rally where about 2.5 lakh people are expected. The party hired buses to ferry supporters to Delhi. Visuals also depicted the large number of crowd in the venue for the rally.
The Varanasi roadshow held by PM Narendra Modi on April 25 also saw a massive crowd. The turnout of supporters was big enough to raise questions whether the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is seeing a Modi wave.
