Earlier on the same day, PM Modi while addressing a rally in Serampore in West Bengal, on Monday, has said that he is currently in touch with 40 Trinamool MLAs. He further claimed that after May 23, when results of the elections would be announced, Trinamool MLAs would abandon 'Didi' (West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee).

"Didi, when the results will be announced on May 23 and lotus(BJP) will bloom on all four corners of the country, your MLAs will also abandon you and run away. Just watch. Even today, I am in touch with 40 of your MLAs. It is difficult for you to survive now, Didi because of your betrayal," said PM Modi.

Earlier in the rally, he had also slammed the West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Chief, Mamata Banerjee of betraying the West Bengal public saying that the youth will make her pay through their votes.

"Didi, understand that this country's people are ever ready to forgive your mistakes, but it can never forgive betrayal. And Didi, you have betrayed West Bengal. The anger which is prevalent in West Bengal right now is due to your betrayal. The youth will exact the revenge for this betrayal. Didi, the ground beneath your feet has slipped away," he added.

In the wake of all the various clashes rampant in West Bengal in all the poll phases, PM Modi said that he felt grateful that Didi was sending him stones with the roshgullas as they will reduce the number of stones used by the Trinamool goons to terrorize the local voters.

"Didi has said that she will send me roshgullas along with stones. I am happy that she is doing so. I say, send me as many stones as you can, Didi. Atleast that many stones will be reduced which your goons use to terrorize the local voters. Send me stones to save voters' heads being bashed by your goons," he said.
