Here's what Omar Abdullah says in support of Mamata Banerjee as 20 anti-BJP parties come together to protest against EC in West Bengal
After the Election Commission cut short the campaign in West Bengal by 24 hours following the violence in the state since the Lok Sabha elections began including the clashes which took place during BJP chief Amit Shah's roadshow on Tuesday, National Conference chief Omar Abdullah tweeted in support of Mamata Banerjee.

This comes as over 20 parties will hold a protest against the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission in West Bengal on Thursday.

The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister repeated Mamata Banerjee's line about BJP and the Election Commission being hand-in-gloves for the polls alleging that the BJP has 'teamed up' with the Election Commission in West Bengal. He also said that these things won't matter as 'Mamata Banerjee will sweep West Bengal'.
"The BJP can team up with the Election Commission in West Bengal, they can have a tailor made campaign designed to fragment & polarise the electorate, they can have all their model code violations overlooked. None of it will matter because on the 23rd @MamataOfficial didi will sweep West Bengal," he said
Over 20 parties will be protesting against the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission in West Bengal on Thursday. The 20 parties will include Akhilesh Yadav led- Samajwadi party, Mayawati led- BSP, and Rahul Gandhi led-Congress.
Mamata Banerjee thanked her leaders for their support in a tweet.
