The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up in a big way for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in India. The General Elections are likely to be held in India between April and May 2024, in which 543 members of the Lok Sabha will be elected.

The ruling party is going all out to capture the hearts of people for the 2024 General Elections in India. On Friday, December 22, the party headquarters were set to host a meeting of BJP leaders from across the nation. The agenda for the afternoon meeting was the preparations for the LS Elections next year.

The meeting that began at 3 pm had national BJP officials, including the state presidents, state in-charge, general secretaries and secretaries of state organisations and presidents of all fronts and the karyakartas, in attendance. These included JP Nadda, President of the party, and BL Santosh, National General Secretary of the BJP.

In the December 22 meeting, around 15-16 states of India will be covered in terms of the campaign strategy. A follow-up meeting will be held on Saturday, December 23 for the remaining states and union territories.

Here’s what the BJP’s campaign looks like for 2024

It was decided in advance that after the Winter Session of the Parliament in 2023, the BJP will begin an extensive campaign for the elections that are not even six months away.

Viksit Bharat campaign@2047

The BJP has begun the Viksit Bharat campaign, named the Viksit Bharat@2047. Under this campaign, the BJP government aims to transform India into a developed nation by the year 2047. The year also marks the 100th anniversary of India’s independence.

Ram Mandir in January 2024

The Ram Temple project will give a huge boost to the BJP’s campaign for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The Ram Mandir will be inaugurated in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, just a few months ahead of the national elections.

The BJP is likely to highlight its success stories over its two terms at the Centre, including the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Digital India, and various other schemes that have benefited the citizens.

JP Nadda to brief party cadre on 2024 Election campaign

The ground cadre of the BJP is meeting regularly to discuss the on-ground campaign for the 2024 LS polls. JP Nadda is laying out a plan and instructing the BJP cadre on how the on-ground campaign will be structured. He will be briefing the BJP officials on the format of the rallies for 2024, how the door-to-door sabhas will be conducted, what the plan is to connect with the public, among other strategic discussions. The detailed campaign and the projects that the BJP will be focussing on will be discussed.

The BJP is planning a huge campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. The meeting on Day 1 will go on till late into the night, followed by another meeting on Day 2.

The party had a resounding victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in 2023. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be looking at a third term as head of state.
