Significant virtual INDI meeting on Wednesday 

A significant virtual INDI meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, where key figures like Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav are expected to attend.

Top sources disclose ongoing negotiations within the Congress, aiming to secure Nitish Kumar's nomination as the INDI Convener. 

The proposed video conference among INDI parties is anticipated to play a pivotal role in shaping the alliance's leadership dynamics.

Mamata's pitch for Kharge as PM face

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee last year proposed Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's name for the position of Prime Minister. 

Sources said Banerjee made the proposal at the meeting of the Opposition INDIA bloc. 

Twelve of the participating parties, sources said, applauded the plan. Even Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal --backed the idea. "This is a chance to have the country's first Dalit Prime Minister," sources quoted him as saying.
