After the key meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on January 2, the party is going ahead with a strong campaign for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Party workers reportedly received a brief from the BJP high command to create a 'Diwali-like' atmosphere and euphoria for the upcoming elections.

Digvijaya Singh questions ECI's transparency, calls for release of Source Code

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh questioned the Election Commission of India's transparency. "Why is ECI stonewalling opposition meeting with them? How do we trust ECI who refuses to meet Principal Opposition Parties?" questioned Digvijay Singh in a post on X.

His tweet comes a day after the Congress letter to ECI seeking a meeting with the INDIA bloc leaders to discuss the issue of Voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT), reported ANI.

The Congress leader also urged ECI to make the Source Code on the chip publicly available.
