Shankar’s ‘2.0’ starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth has lived up to the expectations of being termed the costliest film in the history of Indian cinema. With more than Rs 500 crore invested, the thought of gaining profit would’ve probably not been immediate for the makers, with the eyes on the recovery process first. However, the collections have come as a breath of fresh air for them since the movie’s release on 29 November.
