'2.0' is a cinematic marvel': Netizens Review Rajinikanth And Akshay Kumar Starrer Magnum Opus

The much-anticipated film '2.0' released on November 29 and fans have already started reviewing the same on social media. The magnum opus starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar an Amy Jackson in the lead was widely lauded by the audience and the critics.

The magnum opus starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar an Amy Jackson in the lead was widely lauded by the audience and the critics. As per media reports, the film recorded over Rs.125 crores on the opening day. Film critic Taran Adarsh declared it a blockbuster and praised the performance of the actors. He took to Twitter and said, "#OneWordReview… #2Point0: BLOCKBUSTER. Rating: #2Point0 is a cinematic marvel... This has style with substance... Director Shankar is a visionary... He hits the ball out of the park this time... Akshay Kumar is FANTASTIC, while Rajinikanth is THE BOSS... SALUTE!"

The internet was buzzing about the S. Shankar's directorial ever since it's release was announced. Now, when the film has finally hit the theatres thousands of people rushed to the cinema halls to watch the film. They not only appreciated the actors' performance but also were impressed by the out of box storyline. They praised the director for his imagination and also said the VFX effects can compete with Hollywood.

In the film, Rajinikanth is being hailed as the protagonist whereas Akshay is touted to be the antagonist. The science fiction film is written and directed by S. Shankar, while B. Jeyamohan, joined him as a co-writer. It is produced by A. Subaskaran and reportedly is the most expensive Indian film made to date with a budget of Rs. 543 crores. It is the successor to the 2010 Tamil film 'Enthiran', and features Rajinikanth in the lead role who reprises the roles of Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.
