Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0' finally released all across the globe on November 29. After getting good reviews and decent word of mouth, the film had a spectacular opening day run for a dubbed Hindi film. Now the second the day collections are here and it seems that the film will continue its amazing run.
The Shankar directorial grossed in approximately Rs 18 crore on its second day in the North Indian circuits. This is indeed incredible figures for it is rare for South Indian dubbed films to fare so well, especially on the second day. Barring a slight dip in collections, the magnum opus is holding steady and continues to attract the audiences. With the weekend in sight, the figures are only expected to improve. These collections mark mainly from the Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Bihar, and central India belt, where such films working so well are almost unheard of. The film has also done well in Mumbai and West Bengal, hence these impressive figures, although it cannot compete with 'Baahubali 2' in terms of numbers.
Now, the total collections for the film's Hindi version have reached Rs 38 crore as it earned more than Rs 20 crore on Thursday and it looks like there's no stopping the juggernaut. Meanwhile celebs down South have been going gaga over the film as they are praising it in every kind of superlatives. Take a look at some of their tweets here:
