‘2.0‘ hits the theatres on 29 November and the anticipation for the movie is immense. That is evident from the fact that even Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the movie for the first time in a long time. The actor-politician conveyed ‘three cheers’ to the team of the science-fiction action drama and called the release date a ‘magnificent day.’

Unlike his co-star Akshay Kumar, who is more social media-savvy and has shared numerous posters, videos and other moments from the movie over the past weeks, this was only the megastar’s third tweet in two years related to the movie. The ‘Kabali’ star had shared the first look two years ago on 16 November 2016 and another making video in August of 2017.

Meanwhile, Akshay shared an animated and menacing poster of him out to create destruction as an evil ‘crow man’ with armed forces firing at him. The superstar wrote how with the release, the ‘world will change’, it will be the ‘new beginning’ and that our ‘destiny will change forever.’

‘2.0’, directed by Shankar, is the sequel to the 2010 hit ‘Robot'/’Enthiran’ and also stars Amy Jackson, among others. The movie is produced by Lyca Productions and presented by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The action film is touted to be the most expensive film in the history of Indian cinema.
