Bollywood's most rooted for couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone just announced their much-awaited wedding date. The wedding dated for 14th and 15th of November. The duo had never officially announced their relationship until now and fans are going crazy with happiness. 

The couple is also fondly known as 'DeepVeer' never publicly accepted the fact that they were together but yet dropped subtle hints that proved their relationship would lead to marriage. Here are a few hints we shortlisted that the couple had given in the last few years. 

1) When Ranveer touched Deepika's parents' feet at an award show. 

A few years back, when Ranveer Singh won the best actor award for Bajirao Mastani, before going up on stage, he touched Deepika Padukone's parents' feet and shared a minute long hug with the actress. Even Deepika made her way to Ranveer's parents before collecting her award. The family bonding was proof of a long-term relationship.

2) When DeepVeer followed each other's folks on Instagram.

Deepika and Ranveer seemed to be getting cozy with each other's families, which was evident when not only did Anisha Padukone and Ranveer Singh follow each other on Instagram, but even Deepika started following Ranveer Singh's mother, Anju Bhavnani on the social media platform.

3) When the couple nearly agreed to their marriage rumours

Earlier at an event, when Deepika was asked about her wedding with Ranveer, the 'Gunday' actor had smiled and said that "According to reports, we have married a number of times and a lot has happened in our life. But, when there is something, you will be the first to know.”

4) When Ranveer Singh jokingly proposed to Deepika Padukone on stage at an award show

During IIFA awards when Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh were having a gala time on stage and when Deepika arrived on stage to collect her award, beau Ranveer expressed his love and affection for her by going down on his knees. In the video, you can clearly see Deepika's cheeks turning red. Even the audience couldn't stop blushing

5) When Deepika Padukone had said that she sees her self as a 'working wife' and 'mother'.

In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Deepika spoke on handling success, what she feels about working after marriage and this is what Deepika had to say

"I think that home, family, parents, marriage—these things are very important for me. Today I can see myself as a working wife or mother."

Just the fact that she admitted that she can see herself as a "working wife and a mother" had dropped a subtle hint about he marriage with Ranveer Singh.
