A charismatic Amitabh Bachchan hugs it out with 'the electric' Ranveer Singh as they come together for a great cause

Taking to Twitter, Big B shared a few pictures of himself with the Bollywood livewire Ranveer Singh. In one of the clicks, the two can be seen hugging it out, with the Megastar looking trendy in a black hoodie and the 'Gully Boy' actor being his flamboyant self in a shimmering jacket. With big smiles on both their faces, the two seem truly happy to meet each other. 

Turns out that it was all for a good cause as the two were rehearsing for a special show which would collect funds for families of police officials across the state of Maharashtra. Big B captioned the rendezvous as, "T 3070 - On Republic Day .. a victory as surgical as any strike .. and a rehearsal for the event to collect funds for the families of the Police force in Mumbai and Maharashtra ..the meeting with the Electric Ranveer Singh."

In the meantime, Ranveer is currently ruling both the box office as well as the hearts of the people. After his portrayal of a funny cop in 'Simmba', he will now be seen as a gritty street rapper in 'Gully Boy' and the audience are in awe of how the actor manages to get into the skin of any character he portrays.
