'A lot of shame is attached to not being able to have a successful career', Rangoli Chandel has a strong message for actress Mayoori Kango being appointed at Google India

Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel has something to say about Mayoori Kango, a former Bollywood actress who has now joined Google India as an Industry Lead.

Bollywood and the business world woke up to a rare success story on Thursday morning about actress Mayoori Kango who has been appointed as the Industry head at Google India.

Former Bollywood actress who made her acting debut at the age of 15 and featured in Saeed Akhtar Mirza's National Award winning film 'Naseem' — Mayoori Kango who was a part of many films in the 90's is now heading agency business at Google India. Applauding her achievements and carving her own way out, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel took to her Twitter handle to congratulate Mayoori. She wrote: "A lot of shame is attached to not being able to have a successful career, such life stories are a proof that we all have another chance if we want to 👏👏👏👏  ⁦@GoogleIndia⁩ #Mayurikango" [sic]

The Netizens were too proud of the actress and congratulated her on social media.

The former managing director of Performics.Resultrix, Kango confirmed ((talking to afaqs)) that her appointment is effective immediately. According to the reports, Kango earlier worked with a New York City-based digital agency called 360i as an associate media manager and had worked with Digitas as associate director, media in the past.

Mayoori Kango who quit movies in 2003, featured in movies like 'Papa Kehte Hain', 'Betaabi', 'Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet', 'Badal' and 'Papa the Great'.  She was last seen in a television serial 'Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny' as the daughter of Karishma Kapoor. Mayoori has also been part of TV shows like ‘Kaahin Kissi Roz’, 'Kittie Party', 'Kkusum' and ‘Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat’.

She later went on to marry Aditya Dhillon on December 28, 2003, and moved to the US. Mayoori completed her MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business in 2007. She gave birth to her son in 2011 and is now currently settled in Gurgaon. Mayoori will shuttle between Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore for work.
