Aamir Khan started off 2019 on a right note with the film 'Rubaru Roshni'. The film which premiered directly on TV during Republic Day was really appreciated by one and all. Recently, he met the media at his residence and talked about the film as well as his son Junaid Khan.
Here the 'Thugs of Hindostan' actor revealed that if a biopic is ever made on him, then he thinks his son Junaid would be a good choice to play him. He also talked about his association with the director of 'Rubaru Roshni', Svati Chakravarty Bhatkal, who turns out is married to Aamir's school friend Satya.
In fact, Mr Perfectionist revealed that the two were witnesses when the actor eloped and married Reena back in the day. It was during this conversation that he said that the story of why he took such a bold step is really long and maybe if a biopic is ever made on him, then he would reveal it.
Aamir also expressed the desire to launch his son Junaid in films. He disclosed that he has actually studied acting beforehand and his sensibilities are a lot similar to Aamir himself. The actor added that they are currently on the lookout for a proper script. However, he was also clear that Junaid will be allowed to do a movie only if he is right for the part and passes the screen test.
Other than this, the actor had also opened up about the debacle of 'Thugs of Hindostan'. Speaking about the harsh criticisms that he faced post the film's failure, he said that the people have every right to be angry if they don't like his film, for they come to cinema halls due to his name. He also felt that it was a good thing as it gave them an outlet to vent out their frustrations as the actor had not given any flop films in a long time.
