Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan recently revealed that they celebrate his father veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan's birthday twice a year. On Friday, August 2, the actor took to Twitter and wished his 'pa' a very happy 'second birthday' with a heartwarming throwback picture. In the post, he revealed that the Bachchan family celebrates Big B's second birthday on the day to mark his survival from a near-fatal accident that happened during the shooting of his 1983 film 'Coolie'.
The monochrome picture which reportedly dates back to 37 years, featured Abhishek and his sister Shweta alongside father Amitabh Bachchan. As per media reports, it was clicked when 'Shahenshah' was admitted to a hospital suffering injury on the set.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, the 'Manmarziyaan' actor wrote, "37 years ago in the Breach Candy hospital. My father was recovering from a near fatal accident on the sets of his film Coolie. Today- 2nd August we celebrate his second birthday as he was miraculously revived by the doctors on this day. Happy Birthday, Pa! Love you. #TrueLegendsAreBornTwice"
