Actor Prashant Narayanan To Ace The Role Of An Antagonist In The PM Narendra Modi Biopic

The makers of the much-anticipated biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that actor Prashant Narayanan will take up the role of an antagonist in the biopic.

Starting from Manmohan Singh's 'The Accidental Prime Minister' to 'Thackeray,' and now 'PM Narendra Modi,' looks like 2019 is a year of interesting biopics. Recently, the makers of the much-anticipated biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that actor Prashant Narayanan will take up the role of an antagonist in the biopic. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh recently took to Twitter and confirmed the same unveiling the actor's first look from the film. 

Adarsh in a post wrote, "Actor Prashant Narayanan to play the antagonist in the biopic #PMNarendraModi... Stars Vivek Anand Oberoi... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh... Official look:"

As per media reports, the actor who has previously worked in films like 'Murder 2' will be featured in a pivotal role in the upcoming political venture. Reportedly, his role is a fictional character of the biggest business tycoon of the country called Aditya Reddy. The actor has already started shooting for the film in Ahmedabad. 

Expressing his excitement to come on-board, actor Prashant reportedly said that he grateful to Mukesh Chabbra and Sandip SSingh for giving him this role and stated that it is a lifetime opportunity for him.

The film starring Vivek Oberoi as the Indian Prime Minister also stars  Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Manoj Joshi, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Akshat R Saluja, Anjan Shrivastav, Rajendra Gupta and Yatin Karyekar.

The biopic will follow the journey of PM Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India. 

The film will be directed by Omung Kumar, who has previously helmed some critically acclaimed biopic films including 'Mary Kom' and ' Sarbjit'. It is going to be produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip SSingh under the banner of Legend Global Studio. Reportedly, the film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months.
