But in a tragic turn of events, he becomes an alcoholic and loses his fans. Later, to find the redemption, he finds a small-time singer, Arohi, played by Shraddha Kapoor. He makes all her dreams of becoming a big singer comes true and then dies at the end of the movie. This was one of the best movies Aditya Roy Kapur has done.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

In this movie, Aditya Roy Kapur plays the role of Avi. He is seen in a supporting role in this movie. He is the best friend of Kabir, played by Ranbir Kapoor. Kabir is the protagonist of the movie and wants to make it big in the travel industry. He meets his old school friend, Naina played by Deepika Padukone, during a trekking trip with his friends. Naina falls in love with Kabir but does not express it to him. Years later, they meet at a friend's wedding where Avi is still financially and emotionally down due to his gambling addiction and is helped by Kabir. At the end of the story, Naina confesses her love after which all the characters live happily ever after.

In this movie, we see Aditya Roy Kapur in the role of Bunty. He is the son of Kishen and Mala, played by Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan respectively. Bunty goes back in time and tries to change the way his parents married. He travels to the 1970s and changes the way his parents fall in love. He tries to set their romance but it gets more complex than Bunty expects. Yet he somehow manages to complete his quest and changes the future.
