Karan Johar's 'Kalank' one of the most anticipated films, which is all set to hit the screens in 2019. Recently, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan took to the photo-sharing app, Instagram to share a picture with Aditya Roy Kapur from the sets of 'Kalank' in Indore. In the picture, the two look in a funny mood, just striking a pose for the camera while flexing their biceps. The film has been in the news ever since the announcement of the cast was done. Earlier there were reports that the film is all set to mount one of the most expensive sets of all time. 

The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. However, the storyline has been kept under the wraps for quite a while and has been piquing the curiosity of the viewers.

Kalank' is being produced by Karan Johar under the banner of  Dharma Productions. The period drama will be set in the 1940s. Madhuri Dixit is all set to win hearts again with her dance in this film. She plays a courtesan in the film. 'Kalank'' is slated to release on April 19, 2019.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Sharat Katariya's 'Sui Dhaaga' opposite Anushka Sharma. The actor will also be playing a spy in Shashank Khaitan's next. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt has her kitty filled with some of the major projects like 'Brahmastra' and 'Takht'. The actress had recently completed shooting for 'Gully Boy' opposite Ranveer Singh.

As for Aditya Roy Kapur, the actor who started off as a VJ is reportedly looking to return to the small screen. Aditya is expected to sign the contract once his dates for his film 'Sadak 2' are finalised. The show reportedly will follow contestants as they travel to popular destinations in India and compete in various fitness-related tasks. 

The 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' actor had started his career as a VJ before making his acting debut in the 2009 film 'London Dreams.'
